My Tomatoes Are Ready!!

The tomatoes in our balcony are ripe enough now
Faster than expected, they became red.

But there's a twist...



They are mature alright, but not very big!
Most are just a little bigger than the cherry tomato size.

We thought they were going to be normal sized tomatoes!!
To double check our assumption, we dug out the seed packet
to see what it has to say about this specific kind.
The description said "Medium size"...



Medium size??
Really? They seem small to me

Anyway, we got a bunch of them
Look!!

And there are plenty more to come.

Using all these home-grown tomatoes, I made tomato sauce.

Spaghetti with meatballs & fried eggplants in tomato sauce.

These tomatoes may be small, but they are packed with flavor!
It sure helped making the sauce taste that much better

Now I wonder what I'll make with the next round of ripe tomatoes
