Home in Tokyo

I'm home.
Exactly one day later than scheduled, I came home.

When the boarding time in Vienna was delayed for two hours,
I feared that there might be a further delay.
But that didn't happen.

On the plane, I watched Burlesque and Black Swan
(Could I be any gayer than this??)



Green tea on the Keisei Skyliner.

From what I can see around,
nothing is different or damaged.

The only noticeable changes are many stores' opening hours
and the out-of-stock convenience store inventory.
Many stores closed at 18:00 yesterday.
(I'm used to that in Geneva... It was sunday here.)


Today, we're envisaging "scheduled blackouts."
Never in my life have I encountered such an event.

Talking about electricity,

The Skyliner seats have power plugs built in,
so you can charge up your mobile and etc. while traveling.

Yes, I'm back in Japan.
(where people care to provide good customer service.)

But, this is definitely NOT the usual Tokyo.
We simply have to make the best of this horrible situation.
