Smokin' Hot Pieces of Meat

If I have to pick one thing that I MUST eat while in Japan,
it would be Yakiniku, the Korean/Japanese BBQ.

In my prejudiced and biased opinion,
nothing beats the quality of good Japanese beef.
(A certain American prefers leaner cuts of meat, though...)


To get our toes wet, some kimchi and salad.


I can care less about the veggies, but the tongue!!

That, I care!!
It'd gone too long without eating it...

And here comes the star of the meal!!

Thinking about the sizzling pieces of meat makes my mouth water...

After this, I lost track of taking pictures...
Too busy grilling and distributing the meat

But I managed to take one more picture.

The noodles are very springy and the broth is very thick and rich.
A nice finishing touch on the meat extravaganza

It seems like everyone's losing something due to the earthquake.
Restaurants are still empty and stores can't open as usual.

At least here in Tokyo as I see it,
all we can do is to support the local businesses
so that less people are effected by this malicious misfortune.
